What to Expect at Your First Appointment to Haney Physiotherapy
We want to help you know what to expect when you visit our clinic. The more prepared you are, the easier it is for us to understand your concerns, assess your symptoms, and create a plan that fits your goals and daily needs.
What to Wear
Patients should wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Shorts or loose pants work well for lower body concerns. T-shirts or tank tops help our therapists assess shoulder or neck movement. We also recommend you wear supportive footwear, such as athletic shoes.
What to Bring
- A piece of government-issued photo identification
- Any relevant medical reports, imaging results, or referral letters
- A list of current medications
- Extended health insurance details, if applicable
Forms and Paperwork
All new patients need to complete our detailed new patient intake form so we can collect their health history, injury details, and treatment goals. We recommend completing forms in advance whenever possible. If you can’t fill them out ahead of time, please arrive 15 minutes early to complete them at the clinic.
